These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Kirkwood Lawn and Landscape Service Finder (the "Service"). By submitting a job request, bidding on a job, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is a local matching platform that connects homeowners seeking lawn care and landscaping work with independent local lawn care professionals. Homeowners submit job requests describing the work needed; the request is sent by text message to professionals in our network, who may submit bids by replying to that text; the Service selects a bid and connects the homeowner and professional to complete the work directly.
The Service is a referral and matching tool only. We do not perform lawn care or landscaping work ourselves. Lawn care professionals in our network are independent businesses, not our employees, agents, or partners. Any agreement to perform work, including price, scheduling, quality, and payment for the lawn care or landscaping service itself, is solely between the homeowner and the professional. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for its performance.
We do not independently verify the licensing, insurance, background, or qualifications of lawn care professionals in our network unless explicitly stated otherwise. Homeowners are responsible for satisfying themselves as to a professional's suitability before work begins.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a job request or bid on a job through the Service.
By submitting a job request or a bid, you consent to receive transactional text messages from the Service related to that request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Homeowners are not charged a fee by the Service to submit a job request. Payment for the lawn care or landscaping work itself is made directly to the professional, as agreed between the homeowner and the professional.
Lawn care professionals selected as the winning bidder on a job owe a network fee to the Service, based on the amount of their winning bid. This fee is due within 7 days of being selected and is payable directly to the Service using the payment method provided. Professionals who do not pay outstanding network fees may be removed from future job notifications at the Service's discretion.
If you upload a photo with your job request, you grant us permission to share that photo with lawn care professionals for the purpose of evaluating and bidding on your job. You represent that you have the right to share any photo you upload.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular number of bids will be received on a given job.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, injuries, property damage, or losses arising from or related to work performed, or not performed, by a lawn care professional matched through the Service, or from any dispute between a homeowner and a professional. Any such dispute is between the homeowner and the professional directly.
We may remove a lawn care professional from the network, or decline to broadcast a homeowner's job request, at our discretion, including for non-payment of network fees, misuse of the Service, or other conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or its users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
